Explanation of SAP C4C System Landscape

SAP C4C System Landscape

SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C) is a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) solution that is designed to help businesses manage their sales, service, and marketing activities. The system landscape for SAP C4C can be divided into three main components:

Development System:
  1. Used for customization and development of the SAP C4C solution.
  2. Typically accessed by developers, consultants, and administrators.
  3. Configurations and customizations made here are not visible in the production system.
  4. Used to test new functionalities and integrations before moving them to the QA system.
Quality Assurance (QA) System:
  1. Replica of the production system used for testing and validation of changes.
  2. Used by testers, business analysts, and end-users to ensure the system meets business requirements.
  3. Configurations and customizations made here are not visible in the production system.
  4. Used to test new functionalities and integrations before moving them to the production system.
Production System:
  1. Live environment where the SAP C4C solution is accessed by end-users.
  2. All business processes and transactions take place here.
  3. Typically accessed through the internet or a secure connection.
  4. Configurations and customizations made in the development and QA systems are deployed here.

In addition to these three main components, there may be additional systems or landscapes depending on the requirements of the business. For example, there may be a training system where end-users can learn how to use the system without affecting the live environment. There may also be a backup and disaster recovery system to ensure that the data is safe and can be recovered in case of any system failures or disasters.
