Steps to create SAP C4C Business Roles

 Steps to create business roles in SAP C4C:

  • Log in to SAP C4C as an administrator or user with administrative privileges.
  • Navigate to the Business Roles work center view.
  • Click on the New button to create a new business role.
  • Enter a name and description for the new business role.
  • Select the relevant work center views that correspond to the business role. Work center views define the functions and data that will be available to users assigned to the business role.
  • Assign authorizations to the business role. Authorizations determine the actions and data that users can access within the selected work center views.
  • Set up restrictions for the business role, if necessary. Restrictions limit access to certain data or functions for users assigned to the business role.
  • Save the business role.

Once the business role is created, it can be assigned to users based on their job roles and responsibilities. It is recommended to follow best practices for assigning business roles, such as using a least-privilege principle to ensure that users have only the necessary access to perform their tasks. It is also important to regularly review and update business roles to ensure they remain aligned with business needs and changes in the system.
